Your pedal sucks, can you take it back?

ok but sure.

All items bought directly from Ground Control Audio can be returned for a refund under the following conditions:

  • The item is in its original perfect, like-new condition

  • The return has been requested at most 7 days following delivery confirmation

  • The original packaging and all manuals, papers, etc are included

for PEDALS purchased from our retail partners, please refer to their own return policies.

To request a return, please email info@groundcontrolaudio.com with the serial number of the item, which can be found on the packaging or inside the pedal (backplate or circuitboard), OR YOUR ORDER NUMBER. A follow-up will be sent promptly. If your return has been authorized, ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR YOU TO RETURN THE PEDAL TO US.

Very important:
We ask that you DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHIP THE PEDAL BACK YOURSELF BEFORE ARRANGING THE RETURN WITH US OTHERWISE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE RECEPTION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCEED WITH YOUR REFUND.

Upon receipt, the item will be inspected. If the required conditions are met, a refund for the price paid for the item except all shipping fees, taxes and duty will be issued. A 15% restocking fee may apply. In the event the item is not in its original condition, further instructions will be sent to you via email. We reserve the right to charge for restoration work of the unit (e.g. a replacement enclosure, KNOBS, SWITCHES, ETC).

That said - we seriously hope you will enjoy our products and want to make sure you are satisfied both as a guitarist and a valued customer. Please consider emailing us with your questions or concerns before asking for a return.

I MISSED DELIVERY, WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

IF THE CARRIER IS UNABLE TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGE, THEY WILL LEAVE A NOTICE AT YOUR DOOR OR YOUR PLACE OF DELIVERY. IF FOR SOME REASON YOU MISS THE NOTICE AND THE CARRIER IS UNABLE TO CONTACT YOU PAST A CERTAIN DELAY, THEY WILL CONTACT US AND ASK TO EITHER RETURN OR DISCARD THE PACKAGE, IN WHICH CASE WE WILL IMMEDIATELY GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU IN A LAST DITCH ATTEMPT FOR YOU TO CONTACT THE CARRIER AND ARRANGE A DELIVERY BEFORE THEIR DEADLINE. IF YOU FAIL TO DO SO, WE WILL HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO INSTRUCT THE CARRIER TO DISCARD THE PACKAGE AS SHIPPING IT BACK TO US WILL INCUR FEES. While we try to do everything in our power to get our pedals to your door, we will not be offering refunds or sHIP replacementS if you are not able to receive the delivery.


WHY DID I GET AN EMAIL OR A PHONE CALL ASKING ME TO PAY IMPORT FEES?

Depending on your home country, some shipments may be subject to duty, taxes and other import fees. ThOse fees are out of our control AND WE will not refund those fees. Additionally, in the case that THE FEES REMAIN UNPAID AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS AT REACHING OUT TO YOU, THE CARRIER WILL BE INSTRUCTED TO DISCARD THE PACKAGE. SEE PREVIOUS QUESTION.

MY PEDAL HAS STOPPED WORKING UNEXPECTEDLY, WHAT DO?

SHORT ANSWER: THIS IS VERY SAD. WHILE WE STRIVE FOR THE VERY BEST IN QUALITY CONTROL, IT HAPPENS. EMAIL US and we’ll get you sorted out.
